A popular bar, Badlands is relaxed and informal with a touch of ‘Country’ class.

The bar is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The owners pride themselves on being one of the friendliest and most laid back bars in Sin City. Though it is one of Las Vegas’s oldest gay bars, it’s a modern space and welcomes all guests irrelevant of their sexuality. Popular with men seeking a cowboy of their own, the space includes video poker games, a pool table, darts and shuffleboard as well as a dance floor and sound system. Themed around Country & Western, the Badlands Saloon is a trendy and easy-going bar situated in the historic commercial district. Our top picks of the LGBT clubs and bars in Las Vegas are: Badlands Saloonĩ53 E Sahara Ave #22B, Las Vegas, NV 89104 As you would expect from this flamboyant city, a lot of the venues are themed and offer great entertainment and, sometimes, a little side line of gambling….just so you remember where you are! Unlike a lot of cities, Las Vegas is used to tourists and visitors, so the bars tend to be far less ‘cliquey’ than in some other U.S. Las Vegas has a great range of bars and drinking holes that are principally aimed at the LGBT community.

Prices for the same day bed if Calvin Harris (for example) is playing will cost you $1,000's. Since we went on an "off" day (not a name brand DJ playing) the day bed was only $250. We had a day bed for which there is no charge but there is a minimum amount you need to spend on food and drinks to get that location. Everyone is checked to the point of a "pat down" if necessary. The venue is very safe as the security is very tight (which is good) but you need read their rules so you know what you can or cannot bring into the venue. The crowd gets rocking as the alcohol flows. Let me say up front that we thoroughly enjoyed the venue, the service and the day overall. It has a DJ and depending upon who that DJ is (as in popularity) determines how much you will spend. This is basically a Las Vegas night club that operates during the day around a pool. Our concierge was very helpful and directed us to the proper people for information. I am writing this review because we couldn't find a lot of information about the venue prior to going. I took my two age 21+ sons with their two friends to Wet Republic. We unanimously decided that the next time we come here we are just going to stay in the lounge. Then our table became available so we paid the bill and moved over to the restaurant.

There was great music playing and lots of TV monitors playing old music videos and different sports games. The kids shared a huge Peppermill Margarita too. My wife had a glass of Prosecco ($12) but it was flat so I took it to the bar and they poured her an even bigger glass to replace it.

I'm serious - I can not stress enough just how cheesy this plate of nachos was! Incredible! We ordered a plate of nachos ($22) and when it came we were amazed how big the portion was and that it had more cheese than we had ever seen on a plate of nachos. I ordered a pepsi ($4.25), my wife ordered a drink called a Lemon Drop Martini ($12) and the kids had a huge drink called a Coronarita ($16 - basically a Margarita with a small bottle of Corona dumped in it and a drink called Peaches & Cream ($13). Our server was a young girl named Annie who was really nice and quite attentive. Nice and dark and with seats wrapping around a very cool gas fireplace, we were able to sit right at the fire and wait for our table to open up, The hostess suggested that we wait in the lounge and we are so glad that she did. When we went in October they weren't accepting reservations, so we just showed up and there was a bit of a line up and we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait. We really wanted to have a meal at the Peppermill as we had read a lot about it and even seen it in some movies.
